Apple could be working on a pink iPhone 6S – seriously

Apple’s next iPhone is nearly here and the grapevine is, not surprisingly, bearing plenty of fruit.
The latest on the iPhone 6S is a series of photographs purporting to show a brand-new pink colour option.
Apple has generally opted for conservative colours with its core iPhone series, although 2013’s iPhone 5C was available in a more adventurous colour palette.
These images appear to find their origins with Chinese website Daliulian, so they’re impossible to verify.
It’s also worth noting that these pictures could very easily have been faked by anyone with some basic Photoshop skills.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the rumour mill churn out talk of a pink iPhone 6S.
Back in March, the WSJ reported that Apple would introduce a pink colour option for its next iPhone.
The report cited anonymous sources from within Apple’s iPhone supply chain.
Of course, the company has yet to make any official comment on the matter, so we’re taking this report with a truckload of salt.
Apple is widely reported to be planning a launch event for the iPhone 6S on 9 September, with a tipped on-sale date of 18 September.
Do you think Apple is going to launch a pink iPhone 6S next month? Better yet, do you think it should? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
