In a roundabout way, at least.
Haven’t you heard? Apple is unveiling a new MacBook (or range of MacBooks) on the 14th of October at 10am PST (which is 6pm for us Brits) at an event at Cupertino’s Town Hall!
Okay, hyperbole aside, what we actually know is that Apple has sent an invite to US journalists (we in the UK have yet to hear anything) simply stating that on the 14th of October there will be an event related in some way to notebooks.
There’s absolutely no information other than that relating to the plethora of rumours circulating about the apparent “brick” notebooks and/or manufacturing process. Not that we’d expect anything else of Apple. A few would-be detectives reckon that by measuring the image, and assuming the apple logo is the usual 1.5in size one, the system pictured is a 13.3in beast. As if we didn’t already all know the MacBook range is way overdue a refresh.
Hopefully the UK equivalent invites are in the post?
