If the Apple App Store charts are anything to go by, quite a few folks received a Fitbit tracker in their Christmas stocking.
The Qz website (via Engadget) points out that the Fitbit companion app has shot to the top of the free downloads chart.
The app, which collates all of the stats from the wearable, jumped up 20 spots to take the top spot shortly after present-opening time on December 25.

With many folks receiving new smartphones and tablets for Christmas, one would think the most popular games and social media apps would see a surge in downloads.
They surely did, but apparently the flurry wasn’t as great as Fitbit.
