Angry Birds Space Lands On BlackBerry App World

Who said BlackBerry App World wasn’t as good as Apple’s App Store or Android’s Google Play store?

Research In Motion has just announced the hugely popular physics game, Angry Birds Space, is available to download from its App World, a mere month after arriving on the other phone platforms. Available immediately, it costs $2.99 and includes 60 new levels, new birds and hidden bonus levels.

The update to the even more popular original Angry Birds sees the
titular birdies doing their catapulting thing in space, adding a new
low-gravity element to the otherwise simply slingshot gameplay.

Beyond this addition, BlackBerry’s App World still trails the other smartphone platforms by some distance with around 70,000 apps compared to the 82,000 for Windows Phone, Android’s 450,000 and iPhone’s 700,000.
