Android 5.1 to bring Guest Mode to Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

The new Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge handsets will eventually get Android Lollipop’s Guest Mode feature, originally dropped by the manufacturer, new reports have seemingly confirmed.
Samsung had chosen not to incorporate the feature, which allows device owners to set up a different account for non-primary users, within the Android 5.0 software on its new flagship handsets.
Now, SamMobile sources claim Guest Mode will be added to the mix then the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are updated to Android 5.1.
The site says it has tested the feature (and back it up with pictorial evidence), in an early built and says it works in the same way as on stock Android devices.
Users will have their own secure areas of the phone, where they’ll be able to install their own apps and personalise the homescreen. All of that data can be hidden behind a fingerprint for each user, the site says.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have been extremely well received since landing at Mobile World Congress back in early march.
Both handsets received a near-perfect 9/10 score in TrustedReviews tests and look certain to provide a platform for Samsung to extend its advantage over fellow Android manufacturers like Motorola, LG and HTC.
