USA vs Japan Giant Robot Fight: Watch highlights of the epic battle right here

Until now, we’ve been forced to endure the living hell that are the Transformers movies in order to fill our visceral need for giant robot battles.

However, that’s all changed thanks to the eagerly-anticipated showdown between the behemoth ‘bots of the United States and Japan.

The world’s first Super Heavyweight title showdown between Team USA’s MegaBots and Suidobashi of Japan has been two years in the making.

The biggest dog in the fight is the American Eagle Prime, which is 16-feet tall and weighs in at a gargantuan 12 tonnes.

The Japanese team’s entry, Kuratas weighs only half as much and is three feet shorter.

The fight took place in the early hours of Wednesday October 18, starting at 3am UK time, which was 10pm on Tuesday October 17 for in US Eastern Time.
