Amazon Echo’s latest trick? Booking you a ride with Uber

Amazon has added another neat string to the ever more elaborate bow of its Alexa personal assistant; the ability to book an Uber ride without touching a button.
Owners of the rapidly-improving Amazon Echo speaker can simply use voice commands to ensure a driver shows up at their door at the earliest convenience.
Phrases like “call me an Uber,” “get me an Uber” and “request me a ride” are among those available to Echo users who sync their Uber account with the Alexa app and enter an address.
The integration (via Uber) is a great little addition for those getting ready in a rush.
