Best student deals – Spotify

Spotify Discover Weekly

A Spotify subscription will enhance pretty much every aspect of your university life, whether it’s your Fresher’s Week fling, first house party, annual trip to the gym or, God forbid, actually doing coursework.

All students want uninterrupted tuneage at their fingerprints, and the good news it that Spotify will give you 50% off its premium service, which gets you full access to ad-free music across all your devices.

Plus, you can download albums and playlists to listen to offline, so you won’t rinse your data just by listening to your favourite band.

Best student deals – Microsoft

For fans of a good tech bargain, Microsoft offers students a whole host of freebies, as well as deals across all of its laptops.

Our recommendation for the perfect student all-rounder is the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, which features a powerful processor, decent battery life and good-sized screen. Plus it’s a featherweight, making it perfect for schlepping around campus.

You’ll also be able to get your hands on all sorts of software on the cheap, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office, to help you with your studies – it’s not all parties you know.
