All Vodafone smartphone bundles now ship with 4G access
Vodafone has announced that all of its monthly handset bundles now include access to its 4G network.
This means you won’t be able to get a handset bundle from Vodafone that caps out at a 3G connection.
The network provider has also revealed that it’s increasing data allowances on its Red Value Bundles, which means you can download more content using the nippier 4G connection.
Cindy Rose, Consumer Director at Vodafone UK, said: “
“With our new bundle structure and Fixed Price Promise, Vodafone customers have the flexibility and security to enjoy more of what they love safe in the knowledge their line rental cost will remain the same for the contract term, making Vodafone the network they can depend on.”
The company has also confirmed that Red Value Bundle customers will now be able to make free calls back to the UK within Vodafone’s ‘Europe Zone’.
The Red Value Bundle also gives access to a choice of Spotify Premium, Sky Sports Mobile TV, or a Now TV Entertainment Pass.

Don’t forget that Vodafone’s 4G network isn’t available everywhere in the country, so it’s worth checking on the company’s website to see if you can get coverage where you live.
It’s important to note that while 4G is the latest network standard, data speeds have been falling as uptake has grown over time.
Regardless, the final quarter of 2014 saw an average of 14.7Mbps data speeds across the UK’s four major networks, which is plenty for HD streaming on a mobile device.
