Alan Wake DLC free to download on Xbox 360

‘The Signal’ and ‘The Writer’ are now available to download for free on Xbox 360, following the game’s launch on Xbox One.

Each pack takes place after the main game, consisting of two episodes set to wrap up the original game’s ambiguous conclusion.

This promotion coincides with the launch of Remedy Entertainment’s latest game, Quantum Break.

Quantum Break included free downloads for Alan Wake and all of its DLC if you pre-ordered the game, which came out earlier this week.

Earlier this year, a trademark for Alan Wake’s Return was filed by Remedy Entertainment, teasing a new entry in the franchise.

Alan Wake first launched in May 2010 for Xbox 360 and PC, followed by Alan Wake’s American Nightmare in 2012, a digital spinoff to the original game.

It is unclear how long the DLC will remain free, so login and download it while you have the chance.
