Acer Liquid X2’s gargantuan battery promises over 2 days of charge
Acer has just unveiled the new Acer Liquid X2 smartphone, and one of its components stands out above the rest.
We’re talking batteries here; the 5.5-inch Liquid X2 packs an absolutely enormous 4,000mAh battery.
Considering most flagship handsets currently tout batteries somewhere in the range of 2,000mAh to 3,000mAh (at a push), this makes Acer’s new Android blower exceptional.
What exactly does this mean, though? ST Liew, President of Acer’s Smartphone BG, revealed to TrustedReviews that the Liquid X2 will easily manage over two days of usage per charge.
“
That’s especially good news, as battery life is often a sticking point for manufacturers, and a big turn-off for customers when companies don’t get it right.

It’s got plenty of other features, including a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Both the front and back shooters will also proffer f/1.8 sensors.
The Liquid X2 runs off a 64-bit octa-core processor, although we’re not yet sure which.
It’s also got tri-sim support – that’s great for regular travellers who might want SIM cards for three different countries.
The handset is aimed at business users, but Acer confirmed to us that the Liquid X2 will be available for consumers to buy.
Liew also told us “it will be in the UK”, which is good news for any Brits that regularly suffer battery life woes.
