Facebook is closing on a major landmark with almost one billion users accessing the service via mobile every day.
Within its quarterly earnings report on Wednesday, the company revealed 934 million out of 1.04 billion daily users are doing via their mobile devices.
That means more than 90 per cent of the entire active daily user base are doing so via their mobile devices.
In terms of monthly active users Facebook now has 1.59 billion in total on mobile and desktop platforms.
Elsewhere, Facebook revealed users are now watching 100 million hours of video per day.

The $5.84bn quarterly revenue is up from $3.85bn a year previous, driven by a 58.8 per cent increase in ad revenue.
Mobile ads accounted for 80 per cent of the total ad revenue, which is up from 69 per cent last year.
