Live performances could be a great fit for virtual reality in the future. Imagine being able to attend a show you’d never have the time or money to see? That’s what this very brief demo is all about. Giving you your own private performance with the iconic theatrical circus group.

Taken from its popular Vegas show, you’ll be centre stage as performers appear and sit beside you. Look left and right and they will ocassionally mutter something to you to add to that immersive experiencs. Look behind and you’ll notice the row of empty seats and before you know it, two acrobatic rope dancers make an entrance.

It’s a this point that you truly get a sense of the range the Gear VR’s head tracking is capable as the performers elegantly move up and down the rope. The only thing that really lets it down is the resolution. It’s a shame because we can see real potential here.
