Best PS Vita Games 2016

Here’s our pick of the best PS Vita games to be released this year

PS Vita fans could be forgiven for assuming that Sony has all but forgotten about its handheld, with the Japanese tech giant giving the machine little first-party support or fanfare during most of 2014. However, that’s not to say that the console didn’t see its fair share of classics during the past twelve months, including the definitive portable version of the phenomenon that is Minecraft.
Here are our ten top PS Vita titles from 2016
Freedom Wars by Sony Computer Entertainment
Minecraft: PS Vita Edition by Mojang
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair by NIS America
Soul Sacrifice Delta by Sony Computer Entertainment
God of War Collection by Sony Computer Entertainment
Sly Trilogy by Sony Computer Entertainment
Final Fantasy X|X-2 Remaster by Square Enix
Ys: Memories of Celceta by NIS America
Samurai Warriors 4
by Koei Tecmo
TxK by Llamasoft
2015 may be looking a little bleak for the Vita, but fans should take solace in the fact that in its native Japan, the machine is performing a lot better – and as its forerunner the PSP proved, sometimes that can make all the difference. A resurgence in popularity in Japan can mean increased interest elsewhere in the world, so maybe we’ll see the Vita staging an epic comeback in 2015? Regardless of what happens, the following list proves that there’s still life in the system yet.
