The Huawei P30 still has other phones beat for value, and this deal proves it

Pick up this ridiculously affordable Huawei P30 contract deal with Three from Fonehouse.

Loaded with 100GB of data, as well as all-you-can-eat minutes and texts, you can get your hands on the Huawei P30 handset for just £21 a month and absolutely zero upfront costs.

With up to £192 in cashback to claim, take this Huawei P30 tariff down from £29 a month (arguably still incredible value for money) to just £21. All you have to do is claim back on specific months throughout the duration of your 24-month contract, full information of which will be sent to you once you place your order.

The Huawei P30 sits as the cheaper alternative to the brand’s full-fat Huawei P30 Pro flagship – but it’s still a fantastic handset in its own right.

Showcasing a gorgeous 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution – marginally smaller than the Pro’s 6.4-inches – the Huawei P30 has a premium glass and metal finish, as well as the same dewdrop front camera housing. Of course, the Huawei P30 also comes in a selection of the manufacturer’s signature iridescent colours, offering a variety of magical hues dependent on what angle you hold your device at.

Its design also features a 3.5mm phone jack for those who haven’t taken the wireless plunge as of yet, as well as (and perhaps more excitingly) its in-screen fingerprint sensor which offers an accurate unlocking experience.

We enjoyed a decent performance when testing, thanks to its 6GB of RAM and Kirin 980 CPU, allowing you to really put your handset through its paces without any lagging.

Of course, there have to be drawbacks when it comes to a more affordable handset and it’s the camera that takes the big cuts. That said, it’s still a decent offering, especially for a phone in its price range. An upgrade from the P20 Pro at least, the Huawei P30 comes packing with three sensors – a 40MP wide-angle sensor, 16MP ultra-wide sensor and a 8MP telephoto sensor to boot.

It also shoots in custom RYYB (red, yellow, yellow, blue) – dubbed “Super Spectrum” pixel arrangement – rather than the standard RGB (red, green, blue), which assists in producing brighter shots in lower lighting conditions.

The more affordable P30 forgoes a fourth Time of Flight sensor and optical image stabilisation, both of which can be found in its more expensive sibling. That said, for the average user just looking to share a few snaps on the ‘Gram, this is far from detrimental, still being able to capture some lovely shots.

A fantastic handset that reaps some great stats at a far more reasonable price point, a 100GB plan from Three goes perfectly with the Huawei P30. Just make sure you claim your cashback to bring your monthly cost down to just £21 a month.
