Nintendo Switch Pro Controller gets a Cyber Monday US price cut

Trying to find a Nintendo Switch bargain this shopping season has been even harder than laying your hands on an elusive SNES Classic.

While there have been some slightly favorable bundles, the Switch and its best games have largely maintained their $300/$60 list prices

And who can blame Nintendo? When you can’t make enough consoles to satisfy demand, why get embroiled in the madness of Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

However, for those who happily paid full price for a Switch, there is an opportunity to save on the expensive Pro controller, at least for a limited time.

Walmart is offering a $10.50 discount on the traditionally-shaped pad, which can be preferable for use on some of the system’s more demanding games.

Buy: Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for $59.49 at Walmart (save $10.50)

This is the first time we’ve seen this controller discounted at all, so if you’re looking to boost your Switch set-up it might be a good time to jump in.

Expensive hobby

All things considered, the Switch is a surprisingly expensive endeavor if you want all the official bells and whistles.

The console itself only ships with a pair of Joy-Cons, Joy-Con Grip and Dock. If you want to charge the Joy-Cons while using, that accessory is priced at $29.99. Meanwhile, additional pairs of Joy-Cons are $85 and the Pro pad is $70.

That’s not to mention the $60 games (none are bundled in with the regularly priced console), which hardly ever seem to fall in price, when compared with the PS4 and Xbox One games.

So, Switch gamers, get in on the discounts while you can and snag this Pro controller for ten bucks off.
