Get a head-start on working off the pounds gained from festive feasting; these discounted fitness trackers will have you trim for spring.

In a welcome price-slash, UK electronics giant Currys has knocked a generous £50 off two variants of the new Garmin Vivoactive 3 fitness tracker. This means you can pick up either (1) the Black & Steel model for £229.99 or (2) the Black & Slate version for £249.99.

The Garmin Vivoactive 3 is a fitness tracker built into a traditional watch design, proffering all the usual smartwatch features – phone notifications, apps, and support for iOS and Android.

You’ll also get a wide range of health and fitness tracking features, including GPS location tracking and a dedicated heart-rate monitor.

But the really good news is that you won’t even need to charge it everyday – the Garmin Vivoactive 3 boasts a generous seven-day battery life.

We’re still testing the Garmin Vivoactive 3, so we can’t speak to the device’s quality until our review is completed. However, we’ve been generally impressed with Garmin’s fitness wares in the past.

On Currys, the Garmin Vivoactive 3 has earned a respectable 7.8/10 score based on user reviews (as verified by reevoo). Users were most impressed by the comfort, design, and quality of the wearable.

One user – Rachel, from Lancashire – wrote: “Nice design. Lots of widgets. HR seems accurate. Good for a daily wearing device.”
