Best O2 deals on the Samsung Galaxy S8
The Samsung Galaxy S8 launched back in March, boasting a 5.8-inch super AMOLED screen, wireless charging, an iris scanner, and a flashy new camera that aims to reduce blur. It’s hands-down one of the best smartphones on the market at the moment. It’s available with 64GB of internal storage with support for up to 256GB microSD cards, and comes in five attractive muted metallic colours.
We think that this 10GB O2 deal on the Samsung Galaxy S8 is most worthy of your time at the moment. It strikes a good balance between the upfront cost and monthly payments, staying comfortably under the £40/month point.
Best O2 deals on the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus carries a spacious 6.2-inch screen along with the same great specs as its smaller sibling, the Galaxy S8, which include the Snapdragon 835 chipset, QI wireless charging, Android 7.0 and IP68 water-resistance. We gave it the full five stars when we reviewed it – our only minor gripes being the uselessness of Bixby and bad fingerprint scanner placement. Like the Galaxy S8, it comes with 64GB of built-in storage with an array of 5 colours to choose from.
Here are a couple of affordable small data deals on the Galaxy S8 Plus. Not everyone will be happy with the upfront costs associated with both deals, but the super-low monthly payments balance that out in the long-run.
Best O2 deals on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8
There’s a host of a reasons you should definitely snap up the newly launched Galaxy Note 8, not least its stunning design and build, great 6.3-inch screen and outstanding camera. Sure, it’s expensive, but we didn’t award it 4.5/5 stars in our review for being cheap and cheerful. This is a seriously stylish, feature-packed phablet with brilliant software that’s worth saving your pennies for.
There’s a great range of deals available on the Galaxy Note 8 with O2 this month, and the best value ones tend to be in the bigger data range, which isn’t such a bad thing. You’ll have to get used to the idea of paying more upfront if you want a good deal on the Note 8 at the moment, though.
Best O2 deals on the iPhone 7
The iPhone 7 boasts some fancy display technology that makes the screen pop with colour and brightness, giving photos and videos a special edge. It’s also incredibly fast thanks to a new processor that makes using it immediate and slick. Perhaps its best feature, though, is its fantastic camera. The iPhone 7 comes in 32GB, 128Gb and 256GB storage options, and is available in four colours.
Thanks to the arrival of Apple’s 2017 iPhones, the iPhone 7 is now supremely affordable. You can get a deal on O2 from as little as £27 a month at the moment – brilliant.
Best O2 deals on the iPhone 7 Plus
The iPhone 7 Plus’s 5.5-inch screen is a Full HD retina monster, capable of displaying a striking colour range. It has dual cameras on the back, with one providing advanced zoom capabilities. It also has a fantastic battery life – even better than its sibling the iPhone 7. It has no headphone jack, so you’ll have to get used to that. It’s available in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options, with 4 colours to choose from.
Like the iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 Plus has had a price drop since the new 2017 iPhone arrived, so it’s a great time to snap it up. If O2 is your network of choice, however, you’ll have to pay some rather meaty upfront costs to get a good value tariff.
Best O2 deals on the iPhone 8
The iPhone 8 retains the same IPS screen found on older iPhones, but carries Apple’s new A11 Bionic processor under the hood, which Apple says comes with a host of performance benefits. The brand new iOS 11 finds its first new home in the iPhone 8, too. There’s a 12-megapixel primary camera with lots of exciting updates to the camera app and photos, along with a host of other app improvements and a brand new set of vocal chords for Siri.
There are some great options below for both people who have lots of cash to splash upfront on the iPhone 8, and those who have a tighter budget. We think the 12GB deal is a really reasonable mid-level package.
Best O2 deals on the iPhone 8 Plus
Joining the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X in Apple’s brand new 2017 smartphone trio, the iPhone 8 plus is a jumbo handset with a host of luxury features nestled inside a sleek all-glass design. It features Apple’s new A11 Bionic processor, a host of app updates, snazzy new camera features and a brand new set of vocal chords for Siri. It’s available in two storage options: a 64GB version costing £799, and a capacious 246GB version up for an eye-watering £949 off-contract.
You’ll have to get used to paying a least £44 per month if you’re after an iPhone 8 Plus deal with O2 – and that’s before you factor in upfront costs. Still, most people hankering after the iPhone 8 Plus have probably been saving hard ever the first whisper about the phone got out.
Best O2 deals on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Just because the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is no longer Samsung’s best handset, that doesn’t make it old hat. It’s got a stunning camera, good battery life and, of course, that deliciously smooth screen that spills over the edges. It’s still a great buy, and the generously cheap payment plans available for it at the moment will make you glad you waited. It comes with 32GB of storage.
This is the best deal we could find on the Galaxy S7 Edge with O2 at the moment, with a small upfront cost to make it less of a splurge in the short-term.
Best O2 deals on the iPhone SE
While the iPhone SE is no longer Apple’s latest phone (that honour goes to the iPhone 7 Plus), it’s still brilliant. It also has the same water-resistance, stereo speakers and a wider colour gamut screen. Apple has shed the headphone jack, too. You can choose from 16GB or 64G of internal storage, and there’s an attractive Rose Gold as one of its colour options.
Most of the iPhone SE deals with O2 that we spotted this month have zero or very small upfront costs, so it’s easy to compare the deals below from various retailers for value for money.
