LG’s stylish Android Wear 2.0 watch is $99 ($150 off) in the US right now

When Google releases new versions of its mobile operating systems, it loves to do so with devices that showcase the best Android has to offer.

So when it came time to unveil Android Wear 2.0, Google worked with LG on a pair of watches to show off the best new features.

One of those, the LG Watch Style smartwatch, is currently available for $99.99. That’s a $150 saving on the $249.99 asking price.

It offers a 1.2-inch P-OLED display with a 360 x 360 resolution, 1.1GHz Snapdragon Wear with 4GB of on-board storage and 512MB RAM. It’s IP67 water and dust resistant, is coasted with Gorilla Glass 3 and has a 240mAh battery life.

In our own review, we awarded the LG Watch Style an 8/10 score. We praised the watch for its attractive and slim design, slick Android Wear 2.0 performance and bright and sharp display.

We recommended it for those who did not require the fitness features offered by the LG Watch Sport, which was released at the same time. That watch included GPS and heart rate tracking.

Richard Easton wrote: “For the fashion-conscious the LG Watch Style is one of the more attractive Android Wear offerings on the market. If you don’t mind sacrificing the sports-centric sensors in favour of a smaller size, it’s a great choice.”
