Best budget inkjet all-in-one

If you see a very low asking price on an all-in-one, check the price of its cartridges and how many pages they can print. That’s what we did with the sub-£30 HP Deskjet 1050 and were pleasantly surprised that the running cost was little higher than for all-in-ones at twice the price. Although it’s a basic machine, with a single paper tray, no LCD display and only USB connection, it produces good pages and photos alike.
