Read the full ViewSonic V3D241wm review

Cheap but not so cheerful, ViewSonic's V3D241wm may offer decent hardware, but frankly it was difficult for us to tell through iZ3D's buggy software. Hopefully these issues will be ironed out soon, but until then this is not a 3D display we can recommend.

Whilst this may not be a particularly good monitor, I think it's great that Viewsonic are able to offer so much for so little. Doing so in my opinion forces other manufacturers to bring down their prices and increase their value for money. Which is good for everyone.

I wish we could just forget this whole 3D episode ever happened.

@Michael G:

Indeed, let's hope.

Are you referring to 3D in general? While there are plenty of people who agree with you, there are also many who enjoy the benefits 3D brings (myself being one of them - though I agree in some cases it is poorly implemented or just added 'for the sake of it').

I brought this as a gaming monitor for the 120hz refresh rate. Picked it up at a cheap price off that well know auction site.

For what i brought it for it is super, i cant complain about it and very happy with it. What lets it down is the 3D, the glasses are crap, in films its fine, cant play any games in 3d as its just constant flickering, i dont know if its faulty glasses or something. But im not really bothered as i didnt buy it for the 3D.

So if you want a 3D monitor then dont bother with this, if you want a decent 120hz one for gaming then this is great. I think its better than the benq one which my brothers got, picture looks a lot better.
