The Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is an impressive handset when it comes to its hardware. A huge high-resolution screen, a well laid out keyboard, and some pretty good looks put it on a par with any other high-end smartphone in this regard. However, the software - both the Windows Mobile operating system and the Xpanel interface Sony has laid on top of it - just doesn't hold up and when you're paying a premium price, that's not good enough. @Aspart - well it rather narrows things down when you want Windows Mobile, a Qwerty keyboard and cheap. Essentially that only gives you the Xperia because of 1, 2 and 3 it being ol... more
