Samsung's previous camcorders have tended to be cheap and cheerful affairs but with the VP-HMX20 it has taken a step up to the big league. It has image quality and features to vie with the best but is still very reasonably priced. In fact, at under £500 the VP-HMX20 is one of the cheapest models in its class. Nice review, looks like a nice camera. I like the fact that they label it as having a "HD lens". i.e. the lens can resolve 2MP images - wow!!
