Totally agree joe, for a saving of only 6 quid why would you want these lower quality controllers?
Also I noticed the review didnt mention the motion sensing of the wiimote?

Couldn't agree more. I would consider a third party solution if it offered something extra (i.e. I've seen wireless Nunchuks about). Not only does the black finish look cheap next to the Wii, you are paying just a few pounds less than the official one.
For this to sell, the whole set should cost well under £30.

Any comments about the Retro Controller?
@Joe: I must admit many 3rd party controllers have given me grief, but a few quality ones (like my Logic3 wireless Xbox [original] ones) stood the test of time, looking and feeling better than the originals and still working fine after years of use.

Nothing would ever entice me to buy a third party controller, I've never had anything but problems with them. The slightly higher price of official controllers is more han offset by the quality and the fact you won't have to replace it half as often.
