Xbox 360 Party Game Roundup

I'll have to disagree with ilovethemonkeyhead, sorry. Most families cannot afford either a PS3 or a 360, let alone a PS3 and a Wii or a 360 and a Wii. The reason they head straight for the Wii is that it is cheap, and guarranteed family fun. The Wii has not become the second console in many houses, it is the primary choice in many households.
Microsoft is trying really hard to appeal to Families with their new range of party games, but they feel as if they were rushed out to quickly. These games could have been so much more. IMO, Lips is alright, Scene it! is brilliant but You're in the Movies is hugely disapointing.
PS: I also would like to mention that LBP is way too over rated, sure it's cute and all but it is still a pain to play.

my experience is that i bought the wii first on the strength of excellent release titles like mario galaxy and zelda, but found too few must-have single player games to make it worthwhile for me. so i bought an xbox and after leaving the wii gathering dust between the bouts of guitar hero or wii boxing with friends i gave it to my little sister.
i think that by now, after a few years, a lot of famiies may be inheriting wiis from people like me and while the xbox has certainly improved in terms of family friendliness and party games, i would never, ever, ever think about handing it over to the younger members of my family because it does so much more than playing games, movies, music, chat, all things that the wii is lacking

I'm the same as you mr dog. My colleagues, most of whom have kids, have pretty much all gone for a Wii. One of my regular game supplier also mentioned that the Wii was his biggest seller this xmas. That put aside, my Wii is also gathering dust, well for now anyway, I feel like a Raving Rabbid coming on, but my Xbox and PS3 take the mainstage. I guess this would apply to most serious gamers but as far as families are concerned, Wii is a clear winner.
