You have missed the reason why this game will be a number one smash
The Online multi Player experience which is nothing short of brilliant.
I know lots of fans of this series who don't even bother to play the single player campaigns.
Online is where it is at! You should change you review guidelines

On-the-rails shooter with whizzbang graphics. A perfect metaphor for the times we live in.

If there's £40 worth spending on a game at the moment, it would have to be this one!
Im suprised this only got 8 out of 10.. Id have given it at least a 9.
The single player campaign is pretty straight forward in regular mode, I was impressed by some of the missions you have to do also the graphics in this game are quality!
I admit, I was disapointed to hear when it was anounced COD5 was going back to WWII but now that Ive played it.. well, I cant stop playing it!!
The multiplayer is what makes this game extra special.. built on what is already a great multiplayer experience in COD4, COD5 takes it to the next step.
The co-op play is soo much fun with your mates online, carrying out the missions in game or the zombi natzi bonus game.. you can gain XP points from the camplaign levels which keeps you coming back for more!
The multiplayer games are also a lot of fun, I prefer these new maps compared to the ones in COD4..also now when you create a party with your friends and go online, they appear on the map as blue so you can identify them better..
This game is worth buying for the multiplayer options alone!

"If they're German or Japanese, they've got it coming is the prevailing mood. World at War makes Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway seem meek and apologetic. Hell, it makes Pearl Harbour look like Letters from Iwo Jima, or It Ain't Half Hot Mum look like Tenko. If this is likely to bother you, don't buy it. "
