What do you mean there's more?
So aside from all the titles we've already mentioned, what else was on show? Well, for those who were as big fans of the Lego Star Wars games as me (I'm frequently told I have the mind of a child) you may be interested in picking up a copy of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, which bundles all six episodes into one tasty box. Nothing new here, but it does mean you can play through the first three episodes (based on the three newest films - why so complicated George?) in HD, as the first title is currently Xbox only.
There is a nice range of Arcade titles coming as well, too many to mention individually, but suffice to say that there should be something for everyone. My personal favourite was a space shooter the name of which I sadly neglected to write down - doh! I was also able to have a play around with Mass Effect and while I echo Riyad's sentiments, I wont bore you with a second in-depth analysis.

Other titles coming for the holiday season and on show, but which I didn't play due to being far too busy (see above) include Fifa 08 (due next Friday), PGR 4 which will be bringing motorbikes and dynamic weather to the franchise (fancy driving the Nürburgring in the snow?), Kane and Lynch, which looks very promising and which I regret not being able to play. And I can't not mention Unreal Tournament III, which alas wasn't being displayed, but which I have high hopes of, being a huge fan of the original game and the subsequent titles.
Everything's going to be OK
To sum up, Christmas 2007 is going to be a great time to be a gamer, with more triple-A titles coming in the next few months than we saw the whole of last year. If there was ever a time to buy an Xbox it is now, and while many of the titles on display are available of the PS3, notably Assassins Creed and CoD 4, Sony's console is both more expensive and lacking in proprietary titles such as Halo 3, which annoyingly (for a non-follower like myself) looks set to live up to the incredible hype surrounding it.
Likewise, for those titles available on the PC to run well will require a significantly greater investment of cash in terms of hardware, than the Xbox equivalents, discounting the required HDTV and in some cases will again be exclusive to the console. Better get some more paper, Santa's getting a long list this year!
