No HD? What is the point of that? Where is the new digital age of HD for all...? if the BBC iplayer can be HD, one would have thought sky could too.

It seems a little half-baked to me. The Xbox has a hard drive for goodness' sake, why can't it juts function exactly like a Sky+HD box but using the 'net rather than satellites?

It's just a matter of time. Both downloads and HD require extra technology on top of what they already have in place, but they'll get there eventually.
This begs the question - with all the investment in Xbox, why isn't that ethernet port on the back of my Sky HD box being used? I want VoD without the Xbox please!

@Hugo: Content won't be available to download - which seems a massive oversight
Totally agree, not been able to download makes it a no no for me. People are used to been able to Record series etc and watch when there ready, and not pay an extra £10 per month for the privilege. Even if the download say only lasted a week it would be better than nothing. I tend to think SKY are a bit rip-off anyway, rather than trying to improve there service to keep or get new customer, they want to charge you more, eg. TimeShifting extra, HD extra. We want better services without the extra cost please.
