Does this affect people using WMP11 as their DLNA server?

Working fine and dandy with TVersity.

I must be fairly lucky as my QNAP NAS is still working well with the PS3 running 2.70.

I'm hit by this, my Buffalo Linkstation Mini no longer plays with the PS3. I always thought DLNA equipment was certified, so that it was guaranteed to work together. If so it would suggest that someone here is no longer certified. Is it Sony or the NAS supplier?

My PS3 is still streaming just as it always was so I guess I'm one of the Lucky ones....

I despair at Sony sometimes. Media Streaming is the main thing I use my PS3 for, so I will be really miffed if they have broken it. I see someone has already tried TVersity, so feel a bit better for that! "If it ain't broke, why fix it?"

My QNAP TS109 seems to be running fine.

I have not tested streaming since the upgrade last night but that is the least of my problems. It looks like they have broken AAC music format! Anyone else having this issue?

AAC (purchased from iTunes in case that's a consideration) is working fine for me stored locally and on my NAS box.

OK, I tested streaming from Windows Media Player(Windows 7). Video and music streamed ok, all my music is AAC format. Now I am thinking it is something worse since some tracks play and some don't. Someone please tell me my data has NOT been corrupted! :(

@DEB Yep post 2.7 update my ps3 refuses to play any aac files. Doesn't make any difference whether they were ripped on my pc or the ps3 it just comes up as "The data type is not supported". Quite miffed as almost all my music is in aac. My Qnap NAS 209 still works fine but i did have to restart it and re-scan the content directories in Twonky.

To add to the list of woes my ps3 has now started freezing when running Life with Playstation too - not that it's much use now as hardly any of my music can be played...
