Does anyone know if these Elite versions contain the Falcon chipset (ie...the one's which reduce overheat/failure rate)???

You would prefer the newer "Jasper" board which has superseded the "Falcon" board.
Look for 150W power output rating on the box for Jasper. Falcon used 175W.
