Xbox 360: Now Just £100 at Sainsbury's

With the impending doom that is a global recession a stark reality now, most things are getting more expensive. That is, everything apart from videogames!
As MCV reports, Sainsbury's, in answer to Morrison's half-price chart games and Tesco's and Asda's FIFA 09 price slashing, has taken the dramatic move of selling Microsoft's Xbox 360 Arcade edition for under a £100. Its £99.97 price tag undercuts Microsoft's £129 SRP, which the company is widely advertising on the TV at the moment.

Also being discounted are the 60GB Xbox 360 (£139.97 from £169.97) and the Nintendo Wii (£149.97 from £179.97), so if you were thinking of buying any of the above for Christmas, now seems like a pretty good time.
At the moment these offers are supposed to be running from today until October 12th, so you don't have long to get one, though it would be a surprise if at least one other supermarket doesn't respond in kind.
