Gordon, you are possibly my favourite journo on TR, but please - this goes for everyone - stop it with the bleeding heart "we have to pay so much more then the rest of the world" on all your articles. Spare a thought for your international readers who get shafted far more then you guys.
I wouldn't be antipodean if I didn't accuse you of -ahem- whinging.

So Europe's being screwed on pricing again... And we won't see the video store on PSN until 2009. Sony, shame on you!

Haha, cheer 66vs87 - as a UK site it's in our nature to moan. How about an addendum when making such a reference that Australia will undoubtedly get shafted even more...? ;)

Haha fair enough. Just be sure to addend that addendum for those of us in the South Eastern states of Australia - like NZ ;-)

I've started looking at these price hikes as an 'I-don't-live-in-America' Tax... It makes them a lot more bearable... I'm almost happy to pay more...

Now, now - 66 - Gordon - children : let's belittle one Western superpower at a time. I think Cub's closest to which one that is, but frankly the words 'I-don't-live-in-America' Tax' are somewhat ambiguous. Maybe he's referring to how much a PS3 costs in MugabeLand. And if not, it's certainly worth pondering.

well i've just bought a new ps3 80gb as I wanted to start off a Blu-Ray collection (just got a new panasonic th42pz81b) :-) anyway for anyone in the UK I found a great site which shows you the cheapest price and who has stock: www.playstation380gb.co.uk might be of use to anyone in the UK. My only slight concern now is that sony have just announced a 160gb ps3!

Or you could just buy a 40 gig version and upgrade the hard drive to a 320 gig one for an extra £100 :-)
