It seems almost impossible to believe that it is nearly one full year since we reviewed and fell in love with Resident Evil 4. PC owners have had almost 365 days to feel bitter and jealous, but fret no longer because Ubisoft has announced its zombie/creepy villager slaughtering antics are headed our way.

This superb news comes on the back of a deal which the company has hammered out with developer Capcom and also includes Onimusha 3: Demon Siege and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition.

First out the door will be Onimusha 3 (dammit!) which is scheduled to be out this month and stars the vocal talents of Jean-I’ll-never-do-anything-better-than-Leon-Reno and is a heroic fantasy set against the backdrop of medieval Japan (hence the French actor obviously…?!). Devil May Cry, a gothic combat title, and the biggie: RE4 don’t yet have release dates but are said not to be far away.

"Capcom has created fantastic universes which have become blockbuster franchises,” swooned Jay Cohen, VP of publishing at Ubisoft. “Ubisoft is excited to be bringing three of the industry’s most innovative titles, including Resident Evil 4, which has been recognized by many publications and organizations as the best game of the year for 2005, to PC gamers around the world."

Were he sexy, tanned, bikini-ed and female couldn’t you just kiss him…?!

(Apologies to all our readers of the fairer sex who may simply want to kiss Jay just the way he is. We’re sorry we offended both of you).
