Vax V-124 Dual V
Firstly it has heated cleaning capabilities. This improves the overall cleaning power of the Vax V-124 Dual V, and helps reduce the drying time after the carpet has been cleaned. The five SpinScrub brushes will remove any dirt from the carpet pile without harming the carpet itself, making it fade or reducing its colour. There’s also a SpinScrub hand tool for hard to reach areas and times you want to put a bit of elbow grease in.
The Vax V-124 Dual V has an automix cleaning system, which ensures you always get the right mix of cleaning solution and water so you’re always cleaning at the best possible level. The clean and dirty waters are stored in separate tanks so you always wash with clean water. On top of this, the Dual V air path technology found in the Vax V-124 Dual V makes sure that the suction across the width of the floor is even, which again will make sure that the carpet dries more quickly.
You can suck up spills just as easily as dust, but the Vax V-124 Dual V can vacuum up a serious amount of dust with its 3.7 litre dust capacity. Obviously because of this large capacity, it can be a little heavy to move around when filled with water so it’s probably not best suited to people with back problems. It’s also quite cumbersome to manoeuvre due to its large, heavy construction.
Although the Vax V-124 Dual V has great cleaning power, it’s not that easy to clean afterwards, with multiple nooks and crannies for all the dirt to find its way into. Despite these niggles, however it does clean carpets extremely well, so these might be problems you can live with.
