Vax Mach Air Reach U90-MA-R
As it’s part of Mach’s range of multi-cyclonic bagless vacuum cleaners, the Vax Mach Air Reach U90-MA-R has been specifically designed to be one of the lightest vacuums in the world.
Mach engineers go through the cleaners they make part by part to try and find ways to make it weigh less. The Vax Mach Air Reach U90-MA-R only weighs 5.3 kilograms, yet still has all the suction and dust capacity of a full size upright — it’s much easier to move around and carry than traditional models. It’s also slim, which makes it easy to store.
The bagless bin on the U90-MA-R is quicker and easier to empty than a traditional bag, and it’s less likely the dust will fly everywhere when you empty it too. This is good because you’ll probably have to empty it quite often as the 1.5 litre dust capacity isn’t brilliant. You won’t have to keep plugging and unplugging the device when cleaning your house either as the Vax Mach Air Reach U90-MA-R has a 10 metre long power cable. On top of this, the 4.2 metre hose ensures that it is easy to clean hard-to-reach areas such as the corners of ceilings and the tops of stairs.
If you need to get pet hair up, there’s a TurboTool on the Vax Mach Air Reach U90-MA-R that will help whilst those without animals can use the same feature to efficiently clean stairs (which tend to get quite grubby) and upholstered items such as armchairs, cushions and mattresses. There’s also a three-in-one tool which stores on the body of the Vax Mach Air Reach U90-MA-R. The brushbar adapts to work on either carpets or hard floors, and there’s an adjustable handle to make cleaning more comfortable.
The main problem is that the Vax Mach Air Reach U90-MA-R can block quite easily, especially if you have pets with long hair. However, there is an LED indicator that shows you if there is a blockage.
