CEATEC Japan 2009 - Part 2 Comments

Its a real shame this recession has hit so hard this year, it really is annoying because i've got loads of money to spend. I wish!

The most annoying part is the whole OLED situation, when i first started reading about it back in 2007 i was really excited about it, i still am its just nearly 3 years on i get the feeling with the whole recession situation we won't be seeing many screens on the shelves until atleast 2011. I think manufacturers will definitely be going with the cheaper LED backlight options for another 18 months or so. Its cheaper to make and its still a new much talked/hyped about technology with money to be made from it. 2010 really won't be the right time to introduce an expensive alternative in the current climate.
