John, can you recommend me a 32" set with good black levels under £400?
I can shrug off fancy image processing or 1080p, but poor blacks are a significant eyesore.
Also, does anyone know why we still use interlaced/progressive video formats? Seems to be a throwback to the CRT days, where alternate fields were displayed to match the hertz rating of your country's mains electricity, eg. US: 60hz, so 30fps, UK: 50hz, so 25fps.
