where has value gone on the scores. or did this tv get 0. £700 for a 32" is very steep in this day and age.

Ah, may bad. Was dazzled by the endless torrent of 7s. Yeah, £700 is a lot, but you're paying for the Freesat tuner there really.

@Grouse - these days there isn't really a straight Size vs Price progression as there might've been in the past. "£700 for a 32" is very steep in this day and age" is a perfectly natural reaction, but this is Full HD 1080p for starters. Also the in-built Freeset HD tuner will set you back £150-ish as a set-top box (from memory).
I'm not defending this Panasonic per se - just pointing out that it's a member of the "Premium Small" sector ie 32" for people with small requirements, but premium spec, rather than the usual bargain basement (I saw a TV ad for Argos tonight that had 32" 720p LCD for £299!!)

why would you want the design of a tv to "engage" you? surely the subtler and less obtrusive the styling the better?
