Epson Asia Trip 2008

After this brief introduction, we were ushered through to the factory floor to watch the whole process in action.

Of course the production lines are all contained in clean rooms so that meant us proud journalists had to don some seriously embarrassing clobber for our look around. We even had to go through a giant blow dryer to blast all the detritus away. Egos now fully quashed, we preceded.

The tour took us through the factory in a slightly random manner - it wasn't a start to finish process - so the first thing we actually saw was the testing area. Epson tests every single one of its projectors before shipping. As well as testing for basic functionality they also calibrate them to make sure all the components are not just working but working properly.

Nice trip! More pictures though! The HQ for instance, it would be nice to see what that was like & any more you might have!
