Following on from the Consumer Electronics Show, where Panasonic announced a raft of new products, including new Plasma and LCD TVs, Blu-ray players, a home theatre system and camcorders, the company invited us out to Valencia to what it rather grandly calls the Panasonic HD Networking Convention. Despite the name it's essentially a product showcase, where Panasonic can show the assembled journalists what's coming up in the year to come.

I'll be taking a closer a look at what was on show in a moment. But first, while you may have already seen James Morris' preview of the Panasonic HDC-SD9 from the event, he also took the time to shoot a video, providing a quick flavour of the tech demos that were on show at the event, including shots of Panasonic's ultra-thin 24.7mm Plasma concept.

So, now you've seen a taster from the event and some lovely shots from a somewhat wet and cold Valencia - we brought the weather with us - let's take a look at some of the other technology on show, starting with some new developments in the camera segment and a new addition to Panasonic's iA (Intelligent Auto) system, Intelligent Exposure.
