In a few years we could have picture frame style tvs that are light enough to hang on the wall like a picture. Add in wifi, wireless HDMi and a source of wireless power and well....

Oh man I can't wait! We are so close to two dimensional tvs!

What a complete waste of effort! If they really want to impress us, they need to produce a tv that you can roll up and stick to whatever wall you want on the spur of the moment. Or better still, how about one you can screw up and chuck in your bag like a piece of paper. Or, for that matter, in the bin... bring on the disposable, use once, 40 inch LED TV. Yeah!

come on sammy make it under 3.5mm and then youve got my money because 3.9 is still too bulky for my room right now

My ideal telly of the future:
Wafer thin wall mounted
External upgradable wireless tuner/receiver
OLED
Many Mhz
24 fps
3D
Display photos when not being used as a TV
Built in cameras so that it doubles as a mirror
This Samsung is a step towards my dream... ;o)
