Didn't see any news regarding a A700 replacement in the wind?? Just wondering how long before mines outdated? Best camera ever btw.

I've seen many photos of the new X Series. It looks very nice, plus if the battery lasts half of what Sony claims it would be impressive (an 18 cell option ~20 hours).
I said yesterday that the Nokia netbook was overpriced, but there's just something about Vaio's that just about lets them get away with charging a premium. What can we expect the price to be for an X Series with a 128/256 SSD? Surely no more than £1200??

At least it's not as ridiculous as the Vaio P was.

3D TV. Why?
New cameras look nice, but they've been overtaken by Panasonic.
X series looks great, but yes will no doubt be slightly overpriced. They should release it with a choice of processor & grahics options so those only needing netbook power can go budget and those wanting a more TT like machine can opt for more power.

@HK
If they want more power then opt for a Z series machine.
If you start speccing the X series up with a meaty CPU & GPU, how will it get any sort of ventilation in a chassis as slim at that?

it's kinda like a kick in the teeth, that x series being a netbook, and not a replacement for the vaio tt...
