my current TV weighs in at a collosal 65 kg and takes up more room than a 60" TV how is Sont going to deal with behemoths like this, I'm sure theyve not thought this through properly.

Hmm my 40inch samsung is broken at the moment and will cost a fair bit to fix. Maybe I can recover some money back from it by doing this... needs further investigation.

Im guessing the new set has to be purchased from Sony then, which renders this offer useless as much cheaper deals can be found from third party suppliers.

The deal applies to stores only, so you might as well buy your new Bravia online. The online discount usually more than £50 for 26" to 37" - considerably more.

I knew I should have kept that old projection TV we had for some reason, would have been funny to see Sony take that one in, we had to dismantle it just to get it out the house, and take it carefully to the tip watching the speed bumps didn't crack the tubes.

Nice cute idea but there is no way I am struggling into the centre of Bath with our hefty old CRT TV to get a rebate. - And probably get a parking ticket whilst I unload!
