JVC GD-32X1 LCD TV is a Mere 6.4mm Thick

There's a growing consensus that TVs have probably reached the point of being thin enough that nobody really needs them to be any thinner, but if you do then take a gander at JVC's GD-32X1 32in example. At it's thinnest it measures just 6.4mm across, although you'll find a thicker, 22.5mm, section at the bottom holding all of its important circuitry so it's not quite OLED-panel thin.

Nonetheless, in pictures at least it's certainly an attractive looking television, despite the slightly curious proportions. Unsurprisingly its 32in panel has a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution, with a 4,000:1 contrast ratio, which could be realistic or poor compared rival sets - it's hard to tell given the utter lack of any consistency between manufacturers.
JVC's Genessa Premium image enhancement is on hand to tweak the TVs output, alongside 120Hz processing. 100 per cent sRGB and 90 per cent Adobe RPG colour space reproduction could prove useful for those feeling inclined to display photos on the HD-32X1.
Two HDMI ports a Component input and an RGB port don't exactly comprise the most comprehensive range of connections, but the panel is said to be aimed towards business purposes so that's not as much of a problem. An SDHC card slot enables display of JPEG images and the playback of MP3 files.
