As ever, CES was a hectic affair. Until you attend "the show" it's difficult to appreciate how much there is there and since TrustedReviews covers almost everything that might be called consumer electronics, we need to see more than most.


However, before we draw a line under this year's show it's time to take a look at Samsung's line-up at the show. And, given that Samsung has its dirty little fingers in a massive variety of pies, there's a lot to get through.

First in the firing line is its new camcorder: the Full HD SC-HMX20C. A flashed based camera with 8GB of integrated memory the SC-HMX20C also supports SDHC and MMC+ memory cards for further storage, with HDMI output for quick connection to a TV. It has a 10x Optical Zoom and naturally records to 1,920 x 1,080 in the AVCHD format, with a 2.7 inch touch screen that apparently makes editing "on the fly" easy, though we'll believe that when we see it.


This is just a small taste of what Samsung had on show, with a whole range of new LCD, Plasma and DLP HDTVs, new Blu-ray and DVD players and Home Theatre systems to look at. First, though, let's start with LCDs…
