Vote now in the TrustedReviews Awards 2013

It’s that time of the year again, the TrustedReviews Awards 2013 are underway and we’re giving you the chance to tell us which products you think are the very best.

2013 has been a bumper year for tech, and all the best electronics have
now been released. With the birth next-gen consoles, the rise of smartwatches and a multitude of
excellent tablets, phones and TVs having all stolen the show, it’s been a busy 12 months.

In 2012 the Samsung Galaxy S3 won the coveted Phone of the Year award, narrowly beating the iPhone 5, while the Google Nexus 4 won Budget Phone of the Year. Can the iPhone 5S pip the Galaxy S4 and its bigger brother the Galaxy Note 3 this time around, or will the Nexus 5 – now more expensive and playing with the big boys – win through?

Similarly, while the Google Nexus 7 was rightly crowned Tablet of the Year last time around, it faces renewed competition in 2013. Until the Nexus 7 landed, Android tablets were rubbish but the award winner forced even Apple to rethink its policy on 7-inch tablets. Google has updated its 7-inch tablet this year, but there are a lot more challengers on the scene, including the reworked iPad Air and Kindle Fire HDX 7

On a camera front, the Nikon D610 will try to retain the crown for the manufacturer following last year’s victory for the D800. The snapper will face stiff competition, however, with Olympus, Panasonic, Sony, Fujifilm and, of course, Canon all in the race. This year has also been the year that 4K TV has been widely released and there have been some great TVs, some pricey and some great value.

Perhaps the most hotly contested 2013 category will be Console of the Year.  With the Xbox One and PS4 both released which will take pole position? Their predecessors are better in terms of quality games available and we shouldn’t forget the Wii U. Even the PS Vita has had a new lease of life with a new design and second-screen PS4 compatibility.

Finally we’ve added a couple of new categories – Innovation and Brand of the Year. Tell us what you think now.
