They called it Enigma - a communications encryption system famous for being broken. Curious choice of name.

Funny, when I think of Enigma, I think of a code that was famously hard to break and doing so required the collected genius of some of the brightest minds in the nation.

This probably isn't the first time that secure phones have been sold to the general public, but I'd bet that the international security services don't much like the idea of these things falling into the hands of terrorists and insurgents.
