This is normal with Toshiba, they have never produced a TV you would really want to buy. Having said that I did buy a 22" one for the bedroom, which following a power cut yesterday has decided to stop working. Wondered if it may be a capacitor in the power supply, similar to what I have had in a couple of monitors. But taking the back off everything looks OK no caps with bulges in them. Put it back together and it has decided to work again????? I was going to go back to DirectTVs to get a Samsung 32" job UE32EH5000, but the wife has knocked that one on the head.
