I'm looking at buying this tv, can anyone tell me what the real deal is with it and what the Wifi is for??
Ive seen a mixture of good and bad reviews, also how much would the 3D glasses cost?
Hope to hear bk soon b x
I'm about to buy - seems the real deal - comparable to much more expensive sets (only £450 everywhere, I've only read good reviews. glasses are £50 each from stores but widley available for £50 a pair online.
wireless is to power the smart TV functions which, to be honest, dont look great. I will probably connect via a cable, only thing is the iphone app remote option - which you can only get with wireless. but the dongle is nearly £30 - by the time you add the extras you are getting close to the Samsung UE40ES6540 (£599 at John Lewis at the moment) - 2 free glasses and built in wifi and better smart TV functions.
I saw this set (toshiba) in the flesh and it is a good looking set, thin bezel, great picture quality. I'm set on it now
