Mirrorless Camera – Micro four thirds camera with class-leading in-body stabilisationKey Features
- 5-axis optical image stabilisation
- 15-megapixel MFT sensor and 10fps burst shooting mode
- 2.35m dot EVF and 3-inch 1.04m dot articulated screen
The E-M5 Mark II is the sequel to one of our favourite micro four thirds cameras. Arguably the biggest new feature is the five-axis optical image stabilisation. It does a great job in all situations, and is particularly useful in video where it can create a Steadicam-like quality that helps elevate handheld footage. It doesn't shoot 4K like many Panasonic rivals, but that doesn't prevent it being good for video.
It's a great still camera, too, producing rich but natural colours. It's a great handling camera with well-placed grips and plenty of manual controls. The fully articulated screen is enough nice feature that makes this camera a pleasure to use.
